Justin Johnson of McCormick Woods GC won the 67th Annual Fort Lewis Amateur Golf Tournament played Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3rd at Eagle’s Pride GC in JBLM, Washington. Johnson defended his title, having won this tournament in 2025. Rounds of 71-72 on the par 72 layout secured Johnson a 4-stroke margin of victory.
In the Senior Division, playing different tees, PNGA Hall of Famer Tom Brandes shot rounds of 70-67 for an impressive -7 total. Brandes won the Senior Division by 3 strokes.

The 2nd Annual Warden Open brings professional golf to Sage Hills Golf Club & RV Resort in Central Washington on Saturday, September 20 & Sunday, September 21, 2025. NW Golf Report presents this championship bringing a talented field of amateurs and professionals to Warden, Washington with a $4,100 first place prize and a total purse of $6,900.
At 6,500 yards and playing to a par of 71, Sage Hills will provide a fair and challenging test with a beautiful weather forecast. A field of 17 professionals and 8 amateurs all compete for the overall Warden Open title. The field encompasses PNW players from British Columbia, Oregon, and Washington (full bios of the championship field are included below).
Sage Hills Golf Club and RV Resort is located just 15 miles south of Moses Lake, Washington in the heart of the Columbia Basin. Situated amidst the sand and sagebrush sits an oasis of lush green fairways and mature trees.
In March 2025, NW Golf Report’s Sean Packer returned to Sage Hills to play the course, enjoy The Grill, and capture all 18 tee shots at the full-service resort.

2024 Fort Lewis Amateur – Final Results
Travis Bossio of Olympia C&GC won the 65th Annual Fort Lewis Amateur Golf Tournament played Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th at Eagle’s Pride in JBLM, Washington. Bossio, a collegiate alum of University of Colorado at Colorado Springs will enter the mid-amateur ranks later in 2024. Bossio won the 2023 West Seattle Amateur.
