Spring Classic

April 1, 2023

🏁Final: NW Golf Report Spring Classic from Riverbend GC in Kent, Washington. The inaugural NW Golf Report tournament! The Spring Classic featured professionals, amateurs, seniors, juniors, men and women. The field of competitors was challenged by cold, blustery conditions over all 18 holes.

Jacob Kang won the Men’s Overall Championship with a score of -4, 68. Kang, a 2025 high school graduate representing Everett G&CC, secured a three-stroke margin of victory. In 2022, Kang won the Bill Egbers Memorial high school tournament and the Notah Begay III Junior Regional in Washington. With the victory, Kang beat out a field of professionals, amateurs and juniors all playing the same tees. Both Jacob Kang and his father competed in the tournament and made a lasting memory playing together in the same foursome.
