🏁Final: Junior PGA Championships from Cog Hill G&CC in Palos Park, IL. 72-hole PGA of America championship is one of golf’s major championships for juniors.

Max Herendeen of Bellevue, WA won the championship with a -16 final score of 272. Herendeen, who plays out of Glendale CC, posted rounds of 68-66-70-68 for a 5-stroke margin of victory. Past champions of the event include David Toms and Trevor Immelman, junior golfers who went on to win professional major championships. Herendeen, a University of Illinois commit, continues his standout play in 2022 which already included victories with WJGA and WIAA, playing in the U.S. Junior Amateur, advancing to U.S. Open Final Qualifying and nearly advancing to the U.S. Open.
