U.S. Women’s Open Qualifying from Meridian Valley CC in Kent, WA on April 19, 2022. Qualifier staged by WA Golf was the region’s first USGA qualifier of 2022 and the first U.S. Women’s Open qualifier in the country. Players vied for one spot in the USGA national championship played June 2-5, 2022 at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

🎉Contest Winner: Evan Johnsen of Seattle transforms into Freddy at Jefferson Park to win The Fred Couples Swing-A-Like Contest

Contest held in honor of the 30th anniversary of Fred Couples 1992 win at Augusta.

The NW Golf Report contest committee made a unanimous decision that one submission truly understood the assignment. Contest winner is Evan Johnsen of Seattle, Washington. Johnsen is a Director of Programs and Development with The First Tee of Seattle. He clearly waited his whole life for this moment to showcase his inner Freddy.
