Kim Titus of Fox Island and Kelly Gardner of Gig Harbor teamed to shoot rounds of 73-73 for a three-stroke victory. The win for Titus and Gardner is their 3rd consecutive and 5th overall win in the event!

Titus and Gardner win third straight title at Washington Women’s Four-Ball

Seattle, Wash. – The team of Kim Titus of Fox Island and Kelly Gardner of Gig Harbor shot rounds of 73-73 to win the 22nd Washington Women’s Four-Ball Championship, held this week at Sand Point Country Club in Seattle, Wash.

Titus and Gardner successfully completed the three-peat, having won this championship in 2021 and 2019 (the 2020 championship was cancelled due to COVID-19). This is the fifth title in this event for their team, having also won it in 2014, 2017 and 2019.

The duo finished three shots clear of the runner-up team of Tina Papatolis of Issaquah and Carrie Jacobson of Kirkland.

“Kim and I have been playing together for about 15 years, so we know each other’s game really well, and we know our mental game,” said Gardner, “we can play off each other, especially when we’re both hitting the ball well.

Taking home the Net title in the Women’s Four-Ball are Yuki Chikamura of Renton and Di Chow of Redmond. Chikamura and Chow also won the first flight.

Flight two winners were Theresa Menard of Lake Stevens and Lida Tong of Mill Creek.

The format for the Women’s Four-Ball was 36-hole stroke play (gross and net). The field was divided into flights based on team handicap.

The Washington Women’s Four-Ball is one of 14 championships conducted annually by WA Golf.
