Pro-Assistant Championship

🏁Final: PNW PGA Pro-Assistant Championship from Eugene CC in Eugene, Oregon. 36-hole best ball championship featured a field of 68 teams consisting of head professionals partnering with assistant professionals from their clubs. The Pro-Assistant Championship is the first event on the 2023 championship schedule for the Pacific NW PGA.
Head professional James Fife and assistant professional Daniel Campbell of Bellingham G&CC rallied to win the title on the strength of a final round 65. Fife and Campbell’s 36-hole total of -11 was one ahead of the Kalispel G&CC team of Amy Eneroth and Nick McCaslin.
Top finishers
Fife and Campbell made five best-ball birdies in round 1 for a 68 and seven best-ball birdies in round 2 for a 65. In February 2023, Campbell also was part of the winning pro team in the best ball format at the Olympic Peninsula Pro-Am. Later this summer, Campbell defends the title at the PNW PGA Rosauers Open at Indian Canyon GC in Spokane, Washington. For their win, Fife and Cambell share a first-place prize of $4,500.
