Senior Players’ Championship
April 18-19, 2023
🏁Final: PNW PGA Senior Players’ Championship from Wine Valley GC in Walla Walla, Washington. 36-hole championship featured more than 100 players in the field. An especially difficult first day with cold temperatures and strong winds made scoring a challenge for the entire field.
Top finishers
Professional Mark Knowles of McCormick Woods GC posted rounds of 73-70 to finish as the lone player under par. Knowles, a WSU Cougars golf alum, also won the 2022 Western Washington PGA Senior Chapter Championship.
Knowles scorecards
Over 36 holes Knowles made a total of nine birdies and his final round of 70 matched the low round of the tournament. Knowles, who played in the national Senior PGA Club Championship in 2021, secured a two-stroke victory in winning this championship for the first time.
