🦆University of Oregon wins 33rd Oregon Duck Invitational on home turf at Eugene Country Club as PNW players Stember and Fuenmayor share individual medalist

🏁Final: Oregon Duck Invitational from Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Oregon. 33rd playing of University of Oregon’s home event at the traditional, tree-lined Eugene Country Club. 14 teams and a total of 84 players made up the field.

The Oregon Ducks won the tournament posting scores of 287, 280 and 283 for a -2 total and a seven-stroke victory over Oregon State. The Ducks also won their last outing at the 2023 Bandon Dunes Championship. In 33 playings of the Oregon Duck Invitational, the University of Oregon has won the tournament 11 times.

Oregon’s Nate Stember from Portland and Oregon State’s Mateo Fuenmayor shared co-medalist honors. Stember shot scores of 71, 69 and 67 to reach -6 for 54 holes. Stember’s final round featured zero bogeys.

Mateo Fuenmayor was +7 after his first nine holes of the tournament before rallying with five consecutive birdies in Round 1 for a 74. Fuenmayor followed the opening 74 with rounds of 67 and 66.
