🏁Final: Emerald Valley Best Ball from Emerald Valley GC in Creswell, Oregon. 36-hole event played in a two-player best-ball format attracted a strong field of Oregon tournament winners along with senior and net divisions.  

Craig Ronne, Oregon Ducks alum and 2021 Oregon Stroke Play champion, partnered with Trey Wortman, 2022 Wine Valley Best Ball champion, for a two-stroke margin of victory. The duo didn’t make a bogey over 36 holes and catapulted to the top of the leaderboard in the final round by going out in -5, 31. Ronne and Wortman both have history at Emerald Valley with Ronne once posting a 59 and Wortman working at the facility. Ronne and Wortman posted scores of 66 and 65 for a -13, 131 total.

Runner-ups were Zach Foushee and Harrison Moir at -11 with Dylan Cramer and Jesse Heinly in third at -10.

In the senior division, three teams tied for first. Kevin Burnett and Michael Senatra, Scott Larsen and Wes St. Clair plus Billy Anderson and Ron Hop all finished with 36-hole totals of -6.

The Emerald Valley Best Ball is the first of four events making up the 2023 Space Age Cup. Emerald Valley and Wine Valley in Walla Walla combine to host all four events. All Space Age Cup events along with more than 1,000 more championship tournaments in the PNW are on the “2023 NW Tournament Schedule” at nwgolfreport.com.
