U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Qualifying

🏁Final: U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Qualifying from McCormick Woods GC in Port Orchard, WA. 18-hole qualifier staged by WA Golf with two sides advancing to 2023 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball played May 20-24, 2023 at Kiawah Island Club in Kiawah Island, S.C. Chris Dukeminier (Portland, OR) and Jack Dukeminier (Beaverton, OR) posted -11, 61 from an early tee time. In August, the Dukeminier brothers both qualified for the 2022 U.S. Mid-Amateur from the same Oregon qualifying site. Later in the day, Brock Maulding (Lake Tapps, WA) and Zachary Miller (Buckley, WA) also posted -11, 61. Maulding and Miller are high school players. Robbie Ziegler (Tualatin, OR) & Zach Foushee (Lake Oswego, OR) are first alternates after posting -9.
NW Golf Report’s own Sean Packer teed it up in this qualifier teaming with, another past WA Champion of Champions, Bjorn Bjorke to post -3. Congratulations to the qualifying sides for impressive scoring. Many players in the field expected around -8 to be the qualifying number, -11 was not anticipated at McCormick Woods.
