🏁Final: Idaho Open from Quail Hollow GC in Boise, ID. 54-hole state open staged by the Rocky Mountain Section PGA. 6,200 yard Quail Hollow played stout.

Amateur Joe Neuheisel, the son of former Washington Huskies football coach Rick Neuheisel, outlasted professional TK Kim of Meridian, ID in a playoff for the title. Neuheisel, a Boise State golf team alum, posted rounds of 68-67-68 and won with a birdie on the third playoff hole. Neuheisel won the Arizona Amateur earlier this summer. TK Kim claimed $5,000 for top professional.

Steve Schneiter of Sandy, UT won the Idaho Open – Senior Championship with a birdie on the first playoff hole over Jeff Marsh of Vancouver, WA.
