🏁Final: 60th U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur from Anchorage GC in Anchorage, AK. First USGA championship played in Alaska featured large continent of NW players in the field.

Shelly Stouffer of Fairwinds GC won the title to become the first British Columbia player to win a USGA championship! In September 2021, Stouffer won the Canadian Women’s Senior. In June 2022, Stouffer added the British Columbia Women’s Senior and a dominant win at the PNGA Women’s Senior to her resume.

Stouffer was dominant throughout the event. Stouffer “set a competitive course record with a four-under 68 in the second round of stroke play. It was the only sub-par round recorded in 36 holes of stroke play.” In match play, she won the final match 4&3, “semi-final match 4&3, her quarter-final match 3&2, her round of 16 match 8&6, her round of 32 match 5&4 and her Round of 64 match 5&3.” (British Columbia Golf)
