🏁Final: AJGA K.J. Choi Foundation Junior Championship from The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie – Links in Lacey, WA. 54-hole junior championship with British Columbia, Idaho, Oregon and Washington players all in the field.

Jeff Seong of Tacoma, WA and from the 2026 high school graduating class won the boys championship with rounds of 72-70-73. Seong won the 2021 AJGA Thunderbird Junior All-Star and earned his fourth career top-2 AJGA finish. Alex Zhang, of Richmond, BC and a 2022 U.S. Junior Amateur qualifier, rallied with a final round of 68 to finish as runner-up.

Angela Zhang of Bellevue, WA won the girls championship for back-to-back AJGA victories. Zhang, from the 2027 high school graduating class, won last week at the AJGA Junior at Palouse Ridge and now earned her second career AJGA win with rounds of 69-70-72. Zhang adds to her collection of 2022 titles which consists of multiple WJGA titles and the youngest ever champion of the Washington Women’s Amateur. Luna Lu of Burnaby, BC, the 2022 B.C. Junior Girls champion, finished as runner-up. Zhang at -5 and Lu at -3 pulled away from the girls field with the third place finisher posting +6.
