🏁Final: Washington Women’s Amateur from Moses Lake GC in Moses Lake, WA. WA Golf’s annual 54-hole women’s state championship. Angela Zhang of Bellevue, WA shot rounds of 72-71-74 for a one-stroke victory. At 13-years old, Zhang is the youngest champion in the history of the Washington Women’s Amateur. Earlier this year, Zhang asked Washington Junior Golf Association for authorization to play in the oldest age group for WJGA’s spring events. Zhang’s authorization was approved and she has won three WJGA events in 2022 (WJGA State Match Play, WJGA Western Open, WJGA Eastern Open).

Champions were also crowned in mid-amateur, senior amateur and super senior amateur divisions. Jacqueline Bendrick, Sandra Turbide and Sunny Sue Kim claimed division titles.
