🔦Player Spotlight: In 2021, it seemed anytime there was championship golf in the NW being played there was one name present on the tee sheet…Hunter Wescott of Portland, OR. Wescott spoke with NW Golf Report to document just how much championship golf he played in 2021.

Wescott played his college golf at Dominican College in New York. Upon returning to Portland and his home course of Rock Creek Country Club, Wescott vowed “to play in as much as possible and to push myself to play well week after week.” As an amateur, Wescott was able to play in a wide-variety of NW events. Wescott did more than just play he played well and often well against pros. Wescott recorded a t9 finish in the Northwest Open and a t4 at the Oregon Open. Wescott also qualified for the U.S. Mid-Amateur and played in the prestigious Hudson Cup Matches.

As we look ahead to the 2022 championship golf season, NW Golf Report will continue to track when and where Hunter Wescott will tee it up next.
