🏁Final: 15th Annual Western States Cup on the Future Champions Golf Tour from Menifee Lakes CC in Menifee, California. A massive field of juniors assembled over a long three-day weekend for this 54-hole tournament that included more than 25 NW junior golfers.
Woolworth final round scorecard
Drew Woolworth of Lake Oswego, Oregon posted a -16 three-day total with rounds of 67-66-67 for the win. Woolworth, winner of the 2022 Oregon Junior Amateur, made seven birdies in Round 1, six birdies in Round 2 and five birdies plus an eagle in Round 3. The leader after Round 2, Woolworth from the high school class of 2026 outdueled the field (many of which are two to three years older than him) for a three-stroke margin of victory.
Top finishers
Jake Rodgers of Mulino, Oregon, the 2022 PNGA Junior Amateur champion, also posted a double-digit under par total of -12 for solo 3rd. Rodgers won the FCG Western States Cup in 2022. Additional top-15 finishes from NW junior golfers included Grady Millar of Vancouver, Washington in t7 and in a tie for 11th Ryder Odem of Kirkland, Washington and Harvey Liu of Surrey, B.C.
