Arizona Women’s Open
December 16-18, 2022
🏁Final: 13th Annual Arizona Women’s Open presented by The Cactus Tour from South Golf Course in Sun City, Arizona. A full field of 90 players, featuring more than 10 women pros from the NW, competed in one of the signature events on The Cactus Tour.
Kiana Oshiro, a past Oregon high school golf state champion and record-setting amateur winner of the 2022 Rogue Valley Stroke Play championship, captured her first professional win. Oshiro of Central Point, Oregon opened the event with a tournament-best round score of -5, 67 before closing with rounds of 74 and 73.
Oshiro opened the final round with three consecutive bogeys but ultimately made up a two-stroke deficit on the final hole when she made a closing birdie. A five-hole playoff was needed to determine a winner. Oshiro’s birdie on the fifth playoff hole sealed the victory and the $10,000 first place prize.
