🏁Final: Idaho Match Play Championship from The River Club in Boise, ID. Idaho Golf Association’s state match play championship featuring an 18-hole stroke play qualifier followed by a bracket of match play competition. Kelli Ann Strand of Challis continued her impressive 2022 play in earning the title. Strand qualified as the number one seed with a round of 65 highlighted by a 28 on the back-nine! Strand earned a first round bye due to her stroke play qualifying performance and then won her three matches by a total of 6&5, 5&3 and 5&3. Strand is a University of Nebraska signee.
Seth Jones won the men’s division title after qualifying as the 12 seed in stroke play. Jones won four matches in two days to earn the title. Additional division winners were Gilbert Livas, Scott Vermeer and Mike Rawls.
