🎞Preview: Southwestern Invitational from North Ranch CC in Westlake Village, CA. Washington Huskies are in the field. UW’s RJ Manke is fresh off a 54* at Broadmoor GC in Seattle! Pepperdine’s Joe Highsmith of Lakewood, WA is fresh off a 59 at The Plantation in Indio, CA.
RJ Manke’s 54* made national headlines this week as he was -12 thru 17 holes at Broadmoor. The 10th hole at Broadmoor is currently closed for construction. The closure was likely the only thing that prevented Manke from breaking Fred Couples’ course record of -11, 59.
